Sunday, Sunday, Sunday……

Today, we had a delicious breakfast of pancakes and sausage, which was quickly followed by an intense round of morning Ga-ga ball. Later, we sardined into the vans to go to Lazy Mountain Bible Church. After which was more Ga-ga ball, lunch (tacos) and a trip to a glacier! A twisty-turny route accompanied by stunning mountain views (Side note: It’s hard to find a view that’s NOT mountains here: Wow!). We quickly started our hike, full of slippery ice, small rivers, deep crevices, and amazing views. We found (and took pictures with) an ice formation shaped like a butt.

Levi, Max, and Dave each made it to the top of one of the highest peaks. As we arrived back at the vans, we were pleasantly surprised to find we were having a cookout at the glacier! We ate, drank (water, don’t worry), and made merry. Once we were back at camp, we played Ga-ga ball for a change, then had our evening campfire, our evening sacrifice to the campfire, and debriefed the day. Kendra and Riley also shared their God Stories (great job, guys!) followed by……guess what!….even MORE Ga-ga ball! And that’s all for tonight! 🙂

  1. Shout out for the successful “jump in the air” picture! How many tries did it take to get that? Double shout out to Grace Middleton for being in the picture, even if Sam’s arm obscures her face. 🙂

  2. SO to Kelsey…hoping my absence means you can kick some GaGa butt.
And SO to the leader who edited this post after-the-fact. Hope that frostbite heals! 😉

  3. Hmmm…I don’t think you are playing enough ga-ga ball. 🙂 Just kidding…sounds like a wonderful first full day.
